Milan, Venice and Bruges Hotels Offer up Fine Art

Europe is the perfect destination for those interested in art history. The continent houses paintings and sculpture from many different eras like one huge museum. Holidaymakers should be sure to visit some of the many European cities dedicated to art and not just those that are better known like Paris, Rome and Florence. Although not as popular as Rome, Milan has plenty to offer art lovers. Two of the best museums are the Scuola Grande de San Rocco, home to massive painted scenes by Tintoretto, as well as the artist Titian. Another excellent gallery is the Accademia, home to works by Da Vinci, Caneletto and Bellini. This was founded over 200 years ago by Napoleon, a great fan of art, and is Venice’s main art gallery.
