- When it comes to caravan holidays, one worry that a lot of people have is how they will manage to stay clean. Getting a shower installed in the caravan is possible however, it can be expensive. Therefore most people will make do with the shower rooms that are available in caravan sites. Alternatively you could not for a more natural way and use the sea or a river to wash yourself. Getting a couple of buckets of water is another way that some people will wash themselves when caravanning.

Using two buckets of water to clean clothing is the best way; just put warm soapy water in one and then rinse the clothes in the other one. However, most caravan sites will have a laundry room with washing machines that you can use.
- Cooking is also something that people tend to worry about on a caravan holiday. For me, cooking inside the caravan is something I prefer not to do because I don’t like the way the smell of food is left behind. The best advice is to bring along a portable gas stove that you can use indoors or outdoors. If you prefer cooking on something electric then you will be pleased to know that you can also get portable electric cookers but they will use your caravan’s electricity. Of course if you are really adventurous you could make a camp fire.
